Dragons are hard to build as a tribal. There are few "utility" dragons, and almost the entire tribe is made up very slight variantions of a 5/5 for 6 creature with the flamethrower ability on it.
In this deck I try to enchance the sparse dragon mana acceleration (Dragonspeaker Shaman, Seething Song) by using cards like Manamorphose, Evolving Wilds, Terramorphic Expanse to decrease my virtual deck size to 48, making the chance to get to them a lot better than the usual playset chance. (This also magnifies all the other playset chances in the deck, keep that in mind when scoffing at my 18 creature count )
On top of that Magma Jet provides a scry effect to get the cards you want exactly when you want them. If you already have a fat dragon in your hand, you pick mana, if you have mana, you pick fat dragons.
Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse also allow me to run 26 lands without getting manaflooded to death. Grabbing lands from the deck means you'll get a noticeable mana flood in the beginning, but it'll even out to about a 22 land deck chance pretty soon.
The goal of this deck is to drop it's first fat dragon ASAP in turn 3 to 5, and then keep up a steady stream of more fat dragons (notice I'm running 10, in the virtual 48 size deck). If you don't drop a fat dragon, you just pump all the mana into a dragons breath weapon or burn spells and directly melt your opponents health away.
This is all supported by some removal in the form of Searing Blaze and Magma Jet.
I have rolled LOTS of hands to test this deck, and trust me, the chance rigging I did here pays off big time. This deck is reliable, and you will be happily casting stuff you want every round.
PS. Thundermaw Hellkite and Stormbreath Dragon are way to expensive for my taste.
