Omschrijving

This deck is what I used in the Zendikar Rising Prerelease on friday at the Bazaar of Magic. The goal of the deck was casting Nahiri's Lithoforming the turn after playing Phylath, World Sculptor to create a dominating board presence. It succeeded in doing so in the 6th and final game with the deck. The first two games were lost to the person who ended up taking 1st place in the prerelease, so I decided to share the deck here. There are 2 white MDFCs and 1 red for a total of 18 lands in the deck. With the original deck-plan of taking advantage of repeated landfall-triggers I included Wayward Guide-Beast with 2 Inordinate Rage and a Sizzling Barrage to get it trough, plus the Grotag Bug-Catcher to take advantage of the instants mentioned previously if I didn't have the Territorial Scythecat. Thinking on it now, I believe the copy of Shepherd of Heroes in my pool would likely be a more impactfull card than the Guide-Beast. The card I sided out to sideboard in Broken Wings for opposing creatures with flying was Adventure Awaits, which I maindecked because A) My creature count felt low, B) It could help dig for my Phylath and C) It could find Skyclave Cleric if I needed a landfall trigger.
